ANCHORING PHENOMENON IN SCIENCE September 8, 2025 Huh? An anchoring phenomenon, or anchor, is either a fascinating natural phenomenon or a meaningful design problem that students must investigate, They are things, events, processes and students work to explain them. Martina Crepulja illustrated these anchors for a middle grade science program. How lucky these students must feel! Click here and see what other magnificent work she has been doing.   3x3 MERIT AWARD WINNER PIERRE DROAL September 1, 2025 Pierre Droal has won a #MeritAward in the 3x3, the Magazine of Contemporary Illustration! His work will be featured in Issue No. 22 of 3x3. The honored piece comes from “The Wolf’s Eyelashes”, a beautifully illustrated children’s book written by Chantal Nguyen and published by #Cipango. ALL THINGS BEAUTY July 14, 2025 Looking at the portraits painted so beautifully by Esther Cuesta de la Mata, one will find that her work is all done by hand. She composes watercolors, colored pencils, india inks, graphite, coffee, and even tattoo inks to reach the vibrant colors in each piece.
